Wow, what a movie.  This movie was gripping and drew out some very telling issues that a lot of marriages go through.  From infidelity, money, to death, Tyler Perry hit on all of the issues that tend to split any sound minded couple up.

This movie starts with four couples that go on a annual retreat to re-energize their marriages and to counsel with Patricia played by Janet Jackson, who by the way played a powerful doctor that specializes in marital and family counseling.  While on the trip the true nature of each couple comes out and almost destroys each relationship.  If it were not for Patricia who also had issues with the death of here son, all of the couples would have split up and never seen each other again.  I don't want to give away to much of the movie, but their was one couple that brought an extra friend that turned out to be the mistress of the husband of this couple.  Wow, this man really pisssssed me of through the entire film.  I wanted to jump on the screen and punch his lights out.  And I am not a violent person.  But he deserved it.  He talked about his wife like a dog and even made her drive to the retreat by herself after she got kicked off the flight for being to large to fit in the seating on the plane.  But she got her revenge in the middle and end of the movie.  Love it...

Tyler Perry really knows how to write and direct a movie.  This one was well done and transitioned from scene to scene with no choppy cuts.  This one is a keeper that children probably should not see because it has a lot of adult themes.  Not nudity but the children will not understand most of the situations.  Rent this one, buy this one, it is a great movie..
