The final installment in the immensely popular Harry Potter franchise will debut this summer, 2011, and fans all over the world are eagerly looking forward to this final movie. Kids (many of whom are now young adults) have grown up alongside the actors who play the characters in the movie, and they relate to these characters as if they actually knew them. These kids have spent time memorizing each and every one of the Harry Potter spells, and played make believe with their friends and cousins, pretending to be wizards and muggles. This last movie is the culmination of many years of waiting, and we have some ideas of how best to celebrate it.

To best enjoy this movie, we would like to suggest having a movie viewing party with your relatives and friends. You can work your way through the list of Harry Potter movies, from number one through number seven, and then take a trip to the cinema to watch the final installment. This will help you to catch up and recall many of the minor plot points so that they are fresh in your mind as you see how everything culminates. Of course, this will be especially helpful if you were only a casual fan who may not remember the name of each of the characters, for instance. Doing this over a long weekend would be best, as it would be very difficult to sit through all seven of the already released movies in one sitting!

Your party can be a bit more special if you plan some treats with a Harry Potter theme. We recommend Bertie Botts beans, which are actually made by the Jelly Belly company. You can also follow any of the online recipes for butterbeer, which is not actually an alcoholic beverage; in fact, with most recipes it is more like a Vanilla ice cream float!

Your husband or boyfriend might not admit it, but chances are some of his favorite movies of all-time happen to be romantic ones. When everything comes together to form a great romantic movie it crosses all types of boundaries whether they are of gender, culture, or age. There is a touch of magic related to some of these movies that really seemed to resonate and renew your faith in the power of love. While they might not have special effects or storylines filled with action, they can still transport you to another place as you live vicariously through other people. Here are some of the things that are usually found in the best romantic movies we have all come to love.

Vibrant characters - it doesn't matter if you have big-name movie stars if they aren't great characters that are relatable in some way. After all, that's why we go to the movies, to be able to transport ourselves into the lives of others, or see depictions on screen reflected in our own experiences as well. This can't happen without characters that are rich and believable in some way.

A touch of magic - when it comes to romantic movies no one wants to see something that is entirely realistic. Otherwise the movie would be quite boring or it would be considered a documentary. When it comes to romantic movies we love, there has to be some elements of fantasy or coincidence that makes everything a bit “too good to be true”. Whether it's with the addition of fortunate circumstances or some type of magic love spell, it can’t be exactly like real life otherwise it wouldn't really be a movie at all. Think about some of the best romantic movies of all time – Titanic, Sleepless in Seattle, Pretty woman -could any of these happen in real life exactly like they do on screen?

In the end, it's a combination of unpredictable factors and a special blessing from the movie Gods that all adds up to form a complete package. It's impossible to come up with the specific formula to create a great romantic movie each and every time, but we are certainly thankful when it happens.

Anyone can download free movies these days with the help of websites like Hulu.com. But what type of movies should you look to either download or rent for very cheap prices (sometimes just $1). How about checking out some movies featuring Jim Carrey? No one was funnier than this Canadian during the mid 90’s. Let’s take a look at some of his best work, counting down from #3.

3. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
The title itself tells you exactly what this one was about, but this movie really signifies the beginning of a monster movie career for Carrey. Courtney Cox played his love interest as Ace was trying to uncover the mystery of the missing mascot for the Miami Dolphins right before the Super Bowl. Dan Marino cameos toward the end in this one.

2. Bruce Almighty
While Ace Ventura was the start of his big career, this has been one of the last great comedies Carrey has been in. Morgan Freeman and Jennifer Aniston also headline this blockbuster about an ordinary man who inherits all of the powers of God. Steve Carell plays a small, yet very amusing role as Carrey’s arch rival.

1. Dumb and Dumber
There was no debate as to what movie would sit atop this list. Jim Carrey as Lloyd Christmas was one of the funniest movie characters of all time. Jeff Daniels costars in this road trip movie about two men who have a secret briefcase they are trying to return to one of Lloyd’s limo passengers that left it at the airport. Comedy ensues as Lloyd and Harry do one dumb thing after another.

So if you are so lucky to be able to download free movies today, pick one of these three and you will not be disappointed. There are a lot of other great Jim Carrey movies but as far as comedies go, these top the list!

If you are looking for an enjoyable family adventure motion picture, you can not go wrong if you purchase How to Train Your Dragon. This is a DreamWorks animated movie the whole family will love.

In How to Train Your Dragon, we meet the youthful Viking, Hiccup. Regrettably for Hiccup, he is absolutely not living up to the dreams and expectations of his father. Hiccup just is not cut out to be a Viking. He is small as well as slow, so he has become apprenticed to the local blacksmith, despite that his dad dreams of Hiccup becoming an effective dragon slayer.

One day, while Hiccup is out on his own, he manages to trap a dragon with one of his innovations. This is his opportunity to make a good impression on Astrid, girl of his desires and Dragon Slayer in training, and the rest of the town. However when Hiccup gazes straight into the eyes of the dragon, he simply can not do it. Rather than kill this dragon, he takes pity on it then slowly and gradually a relationship forms between Hiccup and Toothless (this dragon). Collectively, Toothless and Hiccups join forces to save both their worlds. Along the way they overcome the fears as well as prejudices of their respective communities. This motion picture is really as heartwarming as it is fun and action packed.

We've all heard it, whether sitting in a coffee shop, waiting for a movie, etc. Everyone's got that screenplay or novel they're working on. As a screenwriter, here's the best piece of advice I can give you, stop talking about it and DO IT! Even if it's a few pages a day, or sitting down and writing a rough draft over a weekend, if you're looking to create something intended for the big screen commit it to paper. That right there puts you in front of 90% of the people you hear talking about it.

That said, here are some important tips I rediscovered as I bummed around the Amazon Studios screenwriting forums.

Use the Proper Tense

When you describe what the character is doing, the reader should be reading it as it happens. Instead of "the author is typing this article" it should be "the author types the article". If you are one of the few people who have completed a screenplay, go back and review it. Even writing MULTIPLE screenplays, on rereads I find myself slipping up occassionally. Although there's no set rule, eliminating these minor errors can make your writing more professional, which in a sea of scripts being read by producers and agents, any little edge helps your dream escape the recycling bin.

Instead of telling us, SHOW US!

Another big problem new wrtiers commit is long and drawn out dialogue. A good rule to follow is only let characters speak two sentences at a time. (If it can't be witty, keep it economical.) Any more than this either cut wasted dialogue out, or show us in a four line block of action. A common area to find this would be in describing something that happened or another character. For instance, isn't it more exciting to be at a football game and see someone scoring a touchdown, feeling the stadium and crowd overflow with excitement around you, rather than hear your friend tell you about it the next day? The same goes for movies.

These are just two quick tips to help you out (if you want more info visit the link above, or do a quick Google search). For an example of a work that gets a lot of things right, check out one of my favorites for the best screenplay on Amazon Studios.

If you are a real fan of Avatar airbender TV series then you must have definitely hoped to watch wherever you go. Online websites have solved this problem by allowing people to watch Avatar online. So now you can tune in to your favorite episodes wherever you go if you have a laptop. Another great advantage than watching the show from any where is that you would no longer have to worry about the paying the monthly television bills. But you would have to see airbender with the help of your PC. Follow the instructions on the article so that you can watch online for free with the help of your PC.

You must have surely known that Avatar won the Pulcinella wards for the best TV series of the year 2005. It has now over a million viewers. The increased demand of the cartoon series helped it to come online. Avatar also selected as the world most popular television series for kids in 2005. It would be really hard to believe that all the series has not at all featured a single human actor in its shows. The first series was all about the adventure of Aang and Katara in the north pol;e where they learn water bending.

Now the question is how can you access the Avatar online. You can find many websites that allow you to watch online. But is very important to look at all the rules and regulations of these websites before you join them . As most of the companies charges you for watching the series you would need to find whether the company allows you lifetime access to their shows. At least you should look whether they allow you to tune in to the new channel they introduces without paying any fee. You can easily find out websites that allows you customer support and lifetime upgrade to their channel. Most of the websites offers high quality video playback. So you should look for the best website for watching avatar.

You would also need to worry about the bills any more as they would only ask you to pay once for registration. But there are also many websites that asks for monthly rentals in order to see avatar. If you are looking to watch online for free then also there is a solution. But the websites that offers you free video watching would not be able to provide you High Definition video. Also there would be tons of ads in these websites so that it would be a real challenge to watch it by not hitting in any one of them. So choose the best option for you and watch Avatar wherever you go.

A cunningly twisted thriller, comes equipped with plenty of hurtling action, hand held camera work, what-was-that? editing, and a plot that has multiple, contradictory agendas writhing like a nest of snakes. It's all set a-boil within a few blocks of a town square in Spain where a U.S. President is targeted for assassination. Although the movie lasts 90 minutes, the events it depicts are mostly over with in a quarter-hour or so--but seen, rewound, and reseen from half a dozen different (you guessed it) vantage points. The first line in the credits reads "Original Film," apparently the name of the production company. "Gimmick Movie" would be more accurate; the opening reel, effectively jolting, affords an initial overview of the events through the eyes, lenses, monitors, and dueling sensibilities of a TV news producer (Sigourney Weaver), her activist-minded reporter (Zoe Saldana) and crew. Everybody’s in Salamanca (actually, Mexico City) for the start of an international conference to reaffirm Arab-Western commitment to the fight against terrorism. Terrorism, of course, sees this as an ideal moment to break out. As gunshots and explosions reduce everything to chaos, the clock is reset to zero and we proceed to revisit the scene as experienced by several Secret Service agents (namely Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox), an American tourist with camcorder (Forest Whitaker), sundry locals--including three who may be caught up in a love triangle or a conspiracy or both--and even the President himself (William Hurt).

For a while, this is mildly diverting: that guy, or that gesture, so sinister when glimpsed across the plaza in one run-through, now appears harmless in close-up--or vice versa. But there's no real ambiguity (so stop with the careless comparisons to Kurosawa's Rashomon)--this is a shell game in which the peas aren't worth tracking. Despite decent actors, the characters might as well be holograms (although poor Forest Whitaker is saddled with "motivation" of surpassing sappiness), and the casting telegraphs several twists: one redoubtable good guy practically gives a wink-wink, nudge-nudge that he's really bad, etc. The movie declines to specify which nut job philosophy the terrorists espouse, and their numbers are multi-ethnic. There's also a laborious suggestion that they have bloodthirsty, reactionary counterparts among the President's inner circle, which perhaps qualifies as redeeming socio-political comment and prompts a meaningless declaration of deep meaning from the Prez. The whole megilleh finally comes down to an extended car chase through impassably claustrophobic streets that would mark a lurch into unintentional self-parody--if only that point hadn't been passed a couple of rewinds earlier.

It's an elegant world, a rarefied universe, a noble place populated by the crème de la crème of skating elite. Well, it used to be.

In this article we're going to cover one of the most unusual musicals of our time, the part human, part animated Mary Poppins.

Mary Poppins. It's probably the one musical responsible for making Julie Andrews a household name. But Mary Poppins was more than just that.

The musical movie, made in 1964, was probably the crowning achievement in Walt Disney's career. It was his first feature to mix real people with animated characters. At the time, this was some pretty cool stuff. And Disney made sure that everything for this movie masterpiece was just right. He hired one of the best songwriting teams of the time, the Sherman brothers, Robert and Richard. The score for this movie is still to this day considered the teams best ever. The movie itself was nominated for 13 Oscars. It won 5 of those nominations, including Best Actress, Julie Andrews, Best Musical Score, and Best Song, "Chim Chim Cher-ee."

But Mary Poppins was more than just great music. It was a purely delightful story of two children in desperate need of their father's love. Ultimately it took Mary Poppins to make the father realize that it wasn't a nanny that the children needed but their father. As the movie goes on we get to see this man, who at first is only concerned with the bottom line figures at his bank, transform into a loving father who takes his children out to fly a kite. Ultimately, Poppins, who the children had grown to love almost as a mother, drops out of the picture at the end realizing that the children belong with their father and that she would only be in the way. The ultimate sacrifice one would say.

Musical highlights in this one are numerous. There is of course the ever popular "Spoonful Of Sugar" which Poppins sings to the children in order to get them to take their medicine after an outing in the rain. Then there is the classic "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" which was sung during the animated horse race that Poppins, Bert the chimney sweeper and the children attended. And if you want to hear one of the most beautiful songs ever, and sung by an angelic voice, there is "Feed The Birds." This is probably the highlight of Andrews' vocal performances. Aside from that, the story of the old lady feeding the birds is one that only a soul without a heart wouldn't cry to. Of course you can't leave out the Oscar winning tune "Chim Chim Cher-ee" which was sung during Poppins', Bert's and the children's moonlight walk on top of the buildings of the city.

The great music just goes on and on. There isn't a bad tune in this movie. The final tune "Fly A Kite" where the father and children are finally doing something together as a family is really what the whole thing is all about. Yes, a lot of this musical is pure fantasy. But the lessons taught are lessons that every parent in this world should long remember. Children need their parents, not a nanny. Even if she can talk to animated creatures
